It's a different kind of date night! Come and enjoy the art of terrarium building with a partner and take home a beautiful terrarium. Each couple will work together, alongside instructor Shannon Beck of Nodest Home Plants, to build one terrarium during class. All materials included. Pre-registration is required.

Thursday, March 5 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.  |  Hanging Kokedama Workshop
Join Nodest Home Plants for a hands-on kokedama workshop, where nature and art will converge to create miniature masterpieces. Kokedama is Japanese for moss ball, and is a style of potting plants in a ball of moss. Using a 4" plant, Shannon Beck will guide you through the process of shaping, wrapping, and styling your own living moss ball. Perfect for beginners and seasoned plant lovers alike, this workshop is a creative way to add a touch of greenery to your space. All materials provided. Note: the instructors recommend not wearing white, or lightly-colored attire, as participants will be creating a mud ball! Pre-registration is required.

Step into the enchanting world of botanical artistry at an orchid mounting workshop, where we invite you to explore the symbiosis between orchids and cork bark. Join us for a serene and insightful experience, as we delve into the meticulous process of elevating orchids through the ancient technique of mounting on cork bark. Once mounted, your orchid can be hung or placed on a flat surface for easy viewing.

Curious about carnivorous plants? Join expert Roy Bradburn from Nodest Home Plants for a hands-on workshop where you’ll build your own carnivorous plant garden! Roy will guide you through creating the perfect environment for these unique plants.
