GENERAL INFORMATION

- All camps take place Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the exception of the weeks that include Memorial Day and the Fourth of July (four-day weeks). 
- Extended before and after care packages are available from 8 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. for $40 per week.
     - On weeks with partner camps, before and after care is only available for Monday through Wednesday at Lauritzen Gardens for $20 per week.
     - On holiday weeks, before and after care for the four days is available for $30 per week.
- Check-in and pick-up will be at the visitor and education each day (unless the camp takes place at a partnering institution).
- Campers are asked to bring lunch each day of camp. Lunch will also be available to order from the café at Lauritzen Gardens for an additional fee.  
- An email with camp details and a camper information form will be sent to the registrant's parent/guardian prior to the camp. To be sure our emails always make it to your inbox, please add the omahabotanicalgardens.org domain to your email whitelist. (Click here for a quick how-to)

Standard Camp Pricing
- Lauritzen Gardens members - $220 per week
- Non-members - $240 per week
- Before and after care - $40 per week  

Partner Camp Pricing
- Lauritzen Gardens members - $230 per week
- Non-members - $250 per week
- Before and after care - $20 per week (Monday through Wednesday only)  

Holiday Week Camp Pricing
- Lauritzen Gardens members - $170 per week
- Non-members - $190 per week
- Before and after care - $30 per week  

REGISTRATION
A note for garden members: Summer Adventure Camp is sold in XtruLink, which links to your garden membership account. This is a separate program from Altru. If you have not created an account in XtruLink, please do so in order to receive your discounts on registrations. NATURE'S SPLENDOR
4-DAY WEEKS, MAY 27-30 OR JUNE 30-JULY 3 - Holiday Week
Get ready to unleash your creativity and celebrate the wonders of the natural world! Campers will create their own masterpieces while learning about nature's artwork through geography and plant and animal life. Whether your passion is art or nature, this camp promises to inspire and ignite your imagination.  

SOUNDS OF NATURE
JUNE 2-6 - Standard Camp
Immerse yourself in the sounds of nature with this music and sound-themed camp! Not only will campers will explore bird, insect, and other wildlife sounds, but they'll relate them to music in our community. This special week of camp takes place during Opera Omaha's production of Fantastic Mr. Fox, taking place at Lauritzen Gardens. Camp families will receive an opportunity to purchase discounted tickets following camp registration.    

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE
JUNE 9-13 OR JUNE 23-27 - Partner Camp 
Dive into a world of WILD things in this unforgettable summer camp at Lauritzen Gardens and Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. We invite campers to engage in team-building activities, fun games, nature-centered projects and observation to discover the fascinating world of wild animals, their unique features, and their habitats. Join us for a week of creativity, art, exploration, and appreciation for the wild wonders around us.  

MISSION STEM-POSSIBLE
JUNE 16-20 OR JULY 21-25 - Standard Camp
Explore this extraordinary camp that covers the fundamentals of science, technology, engineering, and math, with the backdrop of Sofia's Play Garden, the newest addition at Lauritzen Gardens. Campers will investigate topics that encourage growth in areas ranging from chemistry to environmental science and from engineering to design. Join us as we empower the next generation of innovators!    

GREAT GREEN ADVENTURES
JULY 7-11 OR JULY 28-AUGUST 1 - Partner Camp
Journey into the worlds of Lauritzen Gardens and Fontenelle Forest in this week of exploration and discovery. Campers will investigate the amazing living things all around us and explore everything the WILD has to offer as they engage in two incredible nature areas in the Omaha metropolitan area.  
  
STUNNING SUPERHEROES
JULY 7-11 OR JULY 28-AUGUST 1 - Standard Camp
Meet the unsung and hidden heroes of the natural world! Explore how plants and animals have evolved to defend and thrive in their challenging environments. Of course, we'll also spend time celebrating today's most popular superheroes and villains and how they adapt, just like nature's superheroes do.    

JUST WINGING IT
JULY 14-18 OR AUGUST 4-8 - Standard Camp
Spread your wings and soar in this insect and bird-themed summer camp! Explore birds and insects in their natural environment, learn about local and endangered species, and discover the importance of conservation in protecting our winged friends.

Refunds and Cancellations
Full refunds are available through February 28, 2025 if your summer plans need to be adjusted. Beginning March 1, 2025, a 50% refund is available up until 4 weeks prior to each camp, at which point camps are non-refundable.
