All members and guests, regardless of their age, must purchase advance tickets to Bright Nights.
Event Dates: November 22-24, 27, 29-30. December 1, 4-8, 11-23, 26-31.

Lauritzen Gardens Member Discounts:
- Bright Nights Tickets are in a NEW platform outside of Altru. Garden members must create a membership account and log in to receive access to discounted tickets. For login help, click here or contact the garden at (402) 346-4002, ext. 201.
Please note that garden membership is not transferable and that the number of tickets you are able to purchase at a discount is commensurate with your membership level.
General Information
- Tickets: Prices vary by date and advance tickets are strongly encouraged. Events may sell out, so same day tickets may not be available for purchase.
- Entry: Tickets are sold in 15-minute arrival slots. No early entry; late entry is at the discretion of Lauritzen Gardens. Please do not scan tickets until your time slot is active and your entire party is present. If you arrive before your scheduled time slot or are waiting for additional members of your party, please gather in the front of the visitor and education center or wait in your car before heading to admissions.
- Hours: Nightly from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Event and garden close at 9 p.m.
- Groups: Discounted rates are available for groups of 20+. Please email [email protected] for details.
Additional Information
- Enjoy festive food and drinks, including s’mores, from Abraham Catering and J’s Coffee (additional fees apply).
- Late arrivals are not guaranteed entry.
- Parking is free.
- Tickets are non-refundable and are non-transferable.
- In the event that Lauritzen Gardens must cancel the event, the ticket holder will be notified (via the email or phone number used at the time of purchase) and tickets will be rescheduled for another evening.
Special Engagements
Family Fun Nights:
- All aboard for an evening of festive fun for families! Watch model trains, hear a seasonal story, complete a craft, play games, get your face painted, and enjoy other activities and entertainment that fit the theme of each family fun night.
- Activities run from 4:30 to 9 p.m. and are included with a ticket to Bright Nights
- November 27 and December 27: Merry Music & Art
- December 1 and 8: Holiday Express
- December 11 and 12: Wild about Animals
- December 17 and 18: Magic of the Season
- December 30 and 31: Winter Carnival
Santa Stops Here:
- Share wishes and spread cheer with Santa on December 1, 6-8, and 11-23
- See the North Pole's greatest ambassador from 4:30 to 9 p.m. (included with a ticket to Bright Nights).
Lights and Libations:
- Bars will be open, serving up an array of cocktails, beers, and wines, on December 6, 7, 13, 14, and 20 from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
- All ages may attend these evenings, but guests must be 21 with a valid ID to enter the bar area.
- Great for date night or for a cheerful night with friends and family.
- A Bright Nights ticket is required for entry. Drink prices vary. Explore the menu!

If you are unable to use your tickets, we will process them as a tax-deductible contribution to Lauritzen Gardens. We do not offer refunds for unused tickets.
Lauritzen Gardens sells tickets on our website only. Incorrect pricing and promotions by other, unauthorized entities, such as third-party sites, will not be honored. Tickets purchased through third-party entities are not valid and will not be accepted.
