Immerse yourself in the art of candle making in a nature-inspired setting at Lauritzen Gardens. Join Chantelle Green, founder of Telle & Resa Candle Co., for an engaging and hands-on workshop where you'll create your own 10 oz. soy candle, perfect for any space.

Chantelle will walk participants through each step of the candle making process, from melting and pouring the wax to selecting the perfect fragrance. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with blending your own signature fragrance or choose from a thoughtfully curated collection of all-natural scents.

All materials are provided, including natural soy wax, scents, candle wicks, and the vessel, so you can create a high-quality candle that’s as unique as you are. The workshop also gives you the chance to explore the serene surroundings of the botanical garden after you create your candle—truly a sensory experience!

$50, $40 for garden members. Participants must be 16 or older. Pre-registration is required one week in advance of the workshop.

Learn how to arrange floral elements on a candle’s surface for a natural, botanical design that’s entirely your own. Customize your candle further by blending your own signature scent using a selection of essential
and fragrance oils. Perfect for gifting or keeping for yourself!
