Saturday, October 4, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  |  Hand Papermaking: Collage and Lamination
Lamination is the technique of sealing objects between two sheets of handmade paper while the paper is being formed. Participants will learn about this historical process and created their own sheets embedded with string, colorful paper, petals, and ore. 
$50, $40 for garden members. Pre-registration is required at least one week in advance of the workshop.

Sunday, November 9, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  |  Hand Papermaking: Found Poems
Discover the artistry of the written word in this hand papermaking class. We will begin by reading examples of found poetry, followed by a brief poetry prompt for inspiration. Then, participants will create their own handmade sheet of paper, embedded with their own text from collaged words and phrases.  $50, $40 for garden members. Pre-registration is required at least one week in advance of the workshop. 

Sunday, December 7, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.  |  Hand Papermaking: Watermarks
Discover the magic hidden in paper! Watermarks are secret designs embedded as a sheet is formed, only revealed when light shines through the thinner areas. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of creating watermarks and craft your very own watermarked sheets to take home. $50, $40 for garden members. Pre-registration is required at least one week in advance of the workshop.
