An Artful Garden: Evoking Emotions through Four-season Gardens
Thursday, November 5, 6 p.m.
This lecture, featuring Austin Eischeid, is designed for all of the plant lovers who wish to express art and emotion through the use of hearty, long-lived perennials in their gardens. Eischeid, owner of Austin Eischeid Garden Design, designs public gardens, institutional landscapes, and private residences across the country. His work is rooted in the New Perennial movement- naturalistic plantings that are dynamic, ecologically sound, emotionally moving, and dynamic in every season. Eischeid played an integral role in helping Pied Oudolf’s design of Polina Gardens come alive through plant and tree selection and direct work with the Lauritzen Gardens team.
