Designed to inspire curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the natural world, this monthly program combines exploration, discovery, and creativity in a unique garden setting.

Details

Lauritzen Gardens is a creative environment for children and adults to explore and learn together and this brand-new program is specifically tailored to provide special garden experience for home-schoolers in Pre-K to 8th Grade. From 2 to 3:30 p.m. each session, families will enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, garden tours, nature journaling, crafts, and stories based on their age group and the unique monthly themes.

Pre-registration is required and the cost is $5 per child or adult (member or non-member).
Programs are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from September-November and January-May. Siblings ages 2 & under may accompany the family at no cost. Please note that students may be divided into two groups by age based on registration numbers. Adults may choose which group to go with for the program, but all students will be supervised and led by garden educators and volunteers.
