In appreciation of your garden membership, you’re invited to be among the first to experience the joy and wonder of the holiday season! Join us for a special members only preview from noon to 8 p.m., with lights shining bright from 4 to 8 p.m.

Get in a merry mood as you explore the festive floral display hall, the two houses of the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory, and NEW seasonal features in Sofia’s Play Garden. From a 20-foot poinsettia tree to a glowing forest of lights, discover dazzling displays that showcase nature in a whole new way.

This year’s show invites you into a Nordic winter wonderland, where rustic charm meets winter whimsy. Wander through forests of reclaimed wooden trees, twinkling evergreens, and playful light installations—and don’t miss the cheerful trolls joining in the holiday fun!

In order to share this show with as many people as possible (and to help our team plan), a reservation is required for the member preview. You are welcome to arrive for the event any time after noon and stay as long as you would like, or until the garden closes at 8 p.m. During the daytime, exploration of the outdoor gardens is highly encouraged. Please note that the outdoor gardens close at dusk (with the exception of those featured in the holiday show).

Reservations are valid for the number of guests covered by your household membership. Additional, non-member guests will be welcomed into the holiday show after it opens to the public on November 28. 

To help you plan your experience:

• Abraham Catering will have food available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 4 to 8 p.m. each day of the member preview located in the great hall. Lunch will feature a turkey cranberry sandwich and a tarragon chicken salad on croissant in addition to the standard cafe fare.

• A cash bar with seasonal cocktails, beer, and wine will serve drinks from 4 to 7:30 p.m. each evening.

• Beginning at 4 p.m., members can enjoy a complimentary cup of hot cocoa, coffee, or egg nog.
• S'mores kits will be available for purchase for $6 each (makes 2 S'mores)
