Friday, September 5 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  |  Medicinal Tincture Crafting Workshop
This workshop will explore three herbs in depth. We will explore the medicinal properties of the herbs and feel/smell/taste the herbs in tea form. Each student will choose the herb they feel most connected to and we will make a medicinal tincture of that herb. Each student will choose to steep their herbs in glycerin or alcohol. Students will receive: herbs for 1 tincture, 2 oz of alcohol or glycerin, 1 tincture bottle, and 1 small jar. Botanical extraction takes 4-6 weeks. Students' tincture will be ready after the extraction period. Pre-registration is required one week in advance of the workshop. $45, $35 for garden members.

Friday, October 10 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  |  Medicinal Herbal Oil and Salve Workshop
This workshop will explore three herbs in depth. We will explore the medicinal properties of the herbs and feel/smell/taste the herbs in tea form. We will go through the process of extracting an herbal oil and then crafting an herbal salve together for each student to take home. Students will receive a 1 oz herbal salve to take home. Pre-registration is required one week in advance of the workshop. $45, $35 for garden members.
