Tai Chi

DATE: Tuesday 8/18/26   TIME: 8:00am - 9:00am

Take a moment to breathe and prioritize self-care with the mindful movements of Tai Chi and Qigong. Led by Michelle Cooper, these sessions will focus on decreasing tension, improving flexibility/strength, better balance/body awareness, mental focus, and calming the nervous system. This class takes place in standing positions with no floor work, and no mat is required. Appropriate for all levels. No previous experience is required. Programs are designed for ages 16+

Tuesday mornings (8 to 9 a.m.) and Thursday evenings (6 to 7 p.m.). Classes are appropriate for all levels. No previous experience is required.

Cost: $15, garden members receive 20% off. 

About the Instructor
Michelle Cooper is a certified Tai Chi and Qigong Instructor and teaches all levels, from beginner to advanced. She incorporates her passion for Tai Chi and Qigong with her 25 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, and her teaching background to ensure her classes are fun, progressive, and easy to follow (with modifications given for all levels).
