Needle Felting

Join Rhonda Berman of Zipply Art for workshops that add a new twist to needle felting, a creative craft that involves sculpting shapes and figures using wool and special felting needles. These workshops are beginner-friendly and teach participants how to create art pieces using wool, zippers, and other embellishments.

Details

In each class, an outline design is made when a zipper is sewn onto wool felt. Wool roving is added using the technique of needle felting. Then the piece is adorned with embellishments as desired. Students will learn also how to prepare a zipper, apply a pattern, embellishment tips and finishing options. Programs are designed for ages 16+
