Thursday, May 8, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  |  Spring Arboretum Tour with Steve Rodie - SOLD OUT
Enjoy a detailed dive into the diversity of the tree collection in the garden's Arboretum and Oberman Bird Sanctuary. This educational tour features a tram drive into Lauritzen Gardens and a guided walk with Steve Rodie to talk about the wonders of trees in the the spring-including blossoms, catkins, and leaves. Pre-registration is required. $20, $10 for garden members.

Wednesday, August 20 AND Wednesday, September 3, 6 to 7:30 p.m.  |  Native Plant Workshop
Start your journey to a more sustainable garden with this two-day workshop, where you'll learn how to integrate native Nebraska plants into your landscape. As a bonus, each participant will receive native plant seeds and a "Native Planting in Progress" yard sign to proudly display. Transform your garden this summer while supporting local ecosystems! Pre-registration is required. $60, $50 for garden members. 

Friday, August 22, 8 to 10 p.m.  |  Singing Insect Twilight Tour
When the sun goes down, the high-pitched songs of crickets, katydids, grasshoppers, and cicadas are a prominent element of the summer landscape. Join Dr. Ted Burk for a guided evening exploration of the garden, when the insect chorale is at its peak. See what insects are active and learn to identify insects by their song. This tour includes a tram ride, but participants will be walking for the majority of the program. Pre-registration is required. $25, $15 for garden members.
