In appreciation of your garden membership, members will be among the first to experience our all-new collection of rare and remarkable plant species from around the world in the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory.

You’ll be among the first to experience the conservatory’s stunning new design, featuring an expanded overlook and 10 distinct micro-environments. From the arid deserts of California to the lush tropics of Southeast Asia, each space showcases the incredible diversity of the plant world.

We hope this immersive new landscape sparks your curiosity and inspires a deeper appreciation for the remarkable plant life that surrounds us every day.

In order to share this new space with as many people as possible (and to help our team plan), a reservation with a timed arrival is required for the sneak peek days. You are welcome to stay as long as you would like, or until the garden closes at 7 p.m. During the daytime, exploration of the outdoor gardens, including the woodland trail, is highly encouraged. Please note that the outdoor gardens close at dusk.

Reservations are only valid for the number of guests covered by your household membership. Additional, non-member guests will be welcomed into the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory after it opens to the public on September 20. 

Food and Beverage Offerings

• The café will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. every day.
• Wine and beer will be available to purchase at the café and a cash bar will serve drinks in the gallery from 5 to 7 p.m. each evening.
• J's Coffee will be onsite to serve coffee and other seasonal beverages from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
• On Thursday, September 18 at 5 p.m., our friends and neighbors at Orsi's Italian Bakery & Pizzeria will provide free samples of their pizza (available while product lasts).
