Friday, March 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. | Spring Equinox Celebration
Rejoice in the returning light and the dawning of spring at this Equinox celebration! Gather with others to honor the lessons and gifts of winter while welcoming the energy and promise of the season ahead. Participants are invited to bring poems or favorite book passages that reflect the changing seasons, along with a notebook for personal reflection during this pivotal moment of shifting light. Together, we’ll sow pea seeds in six-packs to take home and plant additional seeds in trays that will be germinated and grown at Lauritzen Gardens. Weather permitting, we may also sow seeds outdoors in the herb garden as we stroll the grounds, sharing spring-themed words—and, if you wish, your own writing. We’ll stretch, enjoy moments of quiet, and soak in the wisdom of nature. This welcoming celebration of self-expression will be led by Kelly Alsup. Tea and light snacks will be provided.
Cost: $30 | Garden members receive 20% off.
