Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. Join origami artist, author and illustrator Linda Stephen to explore origami and the possibilities of paper. These make-it-take-it programs are designed for ages 16+. All materials will be provided, but participants can also bring their own favorite papers.
Saturday, May 16 from 10:30 a.m. to noon | Modular Cubic Rose Ball
Explore the challenge of modular origami-origami made with many folded units. The beautiful ishibashi cubic rose ball is made from six folded paper units and can be used as home decor, an ornament, or jewelry. All materials will be provided, but participants can also bring their own favorite papers. Pre-registration is required one week in advance of the class.

Transform paper into beauty as you learn how to create origami lotus flowers. Designed for beginners, this class will lead participants step-by-step in folding (and assembling) the simple units that make up the parts of the flower. Participants will be able to make and take home more than one flower during this workshop. All materials will be provided.
